Aktion National Airport (PVK) is an airport serving Preveza and Lefkada in Greece. It is also known as Lefkada Airport or Preveza Airport. Aktion airport is located 4 km from Preveza, 17 km from Lefkada and has been operating since 1968. If you are coming from abroad, you should check for charter flights to Aktio in spring, summer and autumn. During the winter season there are domestic flights to and from Athens. From Aktion airport you can either take the bus or rent a car and go to Lefkada or the beautiful Parga.

On the northern cape of Amvrakikos gulf is located the picturesque city of Preveza, a city with thousands of years of history, and landscapes of natural beauty. Preveza is located 385 kilometers from Athens via Aktion, and is a very popular destination for those who truly appreciate nature at its best. During the summer season, the port of Preveza is alive with boats and yachts arriving and departing on a daily basis. The long waterfront, with its beautiful neoclassical buildings create the perfect setting for relaxing walks, and a place where you can enjoy listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. Preveza is connected by air through the airport of Aktion (PVK), and it is also connected to the KTEL buses of Athens, Thessaloniki and other cities. In Aktio you will also find some wonderful marinas.
